BethanyLogoEach Spring Bethany College sends Ministry Teams on a two week tour at the end of April.  This year,

The Bethany Players  are joining forces with the Mennonite Central Committee to present:

Through drama, story and discussion the Bethany Players, from Bethany College, and the Restorative Justice and Victim’s Voice programs of Mennonite Central Committee are partnering to present “Re:connections”, a drama about the struggle to find life for all who are affected by a criminal act of violence.  Violence forces everyone involved to have a conversation. The only real choice is to have it together or separately. In this case, the wife of the murdered man, the murderer and a local minister decide to engage… in an unlikely conversation.

Hear the play’s author, Wilma Derksen (Bethany Alumni and coordinator of Victim’s Voice for MCC Canada) share her journey of losing her daughter Candace to a tragic act of violence.

Participate with MCC Restorative Justice Program Coordinators James Loewen (MCC Canada) and Stephen Siemens (MCC Saskatchewan and Bethany Alumni) as they facilitate dialogue about practically responding to harm in our communities on a national and local level, by living out the ministry of reconciliation.
