Early Bird Incentive -Students who apply before February 1 will receive $300 off their tuition charges.

Springtime Incentive - Students who apply after February 1 but before April 15 will receive $150 off their tuition charges.

Youth Advance Incentive -Students who attend Youth Advance will be eligible to receive $105 off their tuition charges if their application is received by April 15. (This offer may be combined with the Early Bird Incentive Bursary or the Springtime Incentive Bursary).

Application deadlines are: Fall Semester - August 15th; Winter Semester - December 15th.  Applications post-marked after these deadlines will be assessed an additional $100 late fee.

Application Checklist: Bethany 10

   1. To complete your section:
         1.1  A completed application form with signed Student Responsibilities Covenant. (See application for details)
         1.2. A $75.00 application fee (exempt for part-time students). See the financial information section of application for payment options.
         1.3. A recent picture of yourself (wallet sized) for our first year student display board.
         1.4. Please send in your application as soon as possible, so that we can send you the next step of the process.

   2. References:  Reference forms have been included in this application package. Please ensure that your references receive the forms and are properly instructed to return them to Bethany within the week that you choose to apply. It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide a stamped, addressed envelope to the references for the forms to be returned directly to Bethany College. Under no circumstances should the forms be returned to the applicant. Please list the necessary information below, so that we may contact your references if necessary. When selecting references*, we recommend you choose individuals you have known for at least 12-18 months. * Close family members (parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents) may not be used as references.

   3. An official transcript from your high school (photocopies and faxes will not be accepted as official documents).*  An official transcript from all post-secondary educational institutions you attended (photocopies and faxes will not be accepted as official documents).*

*Note: If transcripts are unavailable or incomplete, do not wait to apply. Send a photocopy of your latest report card, or request a partial completed transcript and forward the official transcript when available.

ADMISSIONS POLICY

Bethany College welcomes applicants of any race, gender, ethnic or national origin, denominational affiliation or physical ability.

To qualify for entrance into the ExCiTe and/or Diploma program, applicants must have successfully completed a Grade 12 high school diploma or present a parental home school transcript. A limited number of mature students lacking this requirement may be accepted.

To qualify for entrance into the Certificate program, applicants must either have been enrolled in a modified high school program or have not completed high school and be at least 18 years of age. A maximum of 5 percent of the student body may be admitted into the Certificate program.

To qualify for entrance into the Degree programs, applicants must have completed the Diploma of Biblical Studies or its equivalent.

Applicants must be willing to submit to the discipline of studies and campus regulations as described in the Student Handbook and Academic Manual.

Students are required to attend the orientation sessions in September.

In order to adequately process new applications and arrange for residence placements, completed application forms should be received no later than two weeks before classes begin each semester.
